NCASEF Affiliate Meeting & Charity Golf Event

November 12-13, 2024

Tuesday – November 12th –  We will begin our Charity Golf event at the Mauna Lani Golf Course (approximately 30 miles away – transportation provided) with a light breakfast followed by a 9:30am Shotgun start time.

68-1050 Makaiwa Place, Kohala Coast, HI 96743

Mauna Lani, meaning “mountain reaching heaven,” is a storied resort nestled within idyllic beaches, sacred fishponds and primordial lava fields on Hawai’i Island’s Kohala Coast. Rooted in the timeless spirit of old Hawai’i, Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection is home to the storied North and South Courses, designed by Homer Flint, Raymond Cain and Robin Nelson and dedicated to famed golfer and former landowner, Francis H. Li Brown.

The Francis H. Li. Brown North and South golf courses are two of the most naturally beautiful 18-hole championship courses in Hawaii and are private courses attached to the Mauna Lani Resort. The resort, however, does allow visitors to use the courses. They are oceanfront courses and were designed by Homer Flint and Raymond Cain and opened to the public in 1981.

The South Course is built on the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow, geologically a relatively young flow. The golf course snakes through stark, rugged, aa lava. The Volcano goddess, Pele, reigns supreme on this course. If she favors you, balls hit into the lava will miraculously bounce back into the fairway. If not, kiss them good-bye! Aside from great golf, this challenging course offers the golfer a range of mountain and ocean views and was home of the Senior Skins Game for 10 years.

The South Course snakes though the rugged a’a lava of the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow and offers panorama views of the mountain and ocean.
